Our Story
Iconic Collectors began with a simple moment that changed everything.
In late 2024, a conversation with my son introduced me to the world of memorabilia. What began as curiosity quickly became fascination, and fascination became conviction.
With a background in finance, investment and academia, I naturally began to explore collectibles through a different lens. I asked how history becomes value, and how emotion, scarcity and provenance combine to create markets that operate beyond traditional asset classes.
That journey led to deep research, global auctions and eventually the writing of my book Investment Collecting: The Past, Investing in the Future, published in September 2025.
As my personal collection grew to over 500 significant pieces, including some of the most iconic moments in sports history, a clearer vision began to form.
Memorabilia was not just a passion. It was an emerging global asset class.
After attending the National Sports Collectors Convention in Chicago, that vision became even stronger. The energy, scale and authenticity of the community confirmed what I had come to believe. This industry deserved a platform built on trust, expertise and transparency.
Iconic Collectors was created to bring that vision to life.

Meet the Founder
I am Bobby Rakhit, founder of Iconic Collectors.
My career began in global finance with roles at Morgan Stanley, HSBC and Piper Jaffray, followed by leadership positions in emerging markets at FactSet. I later founded Rakhit Capital, a family investment firm focused on technology, real estate and alternative assets.
Alongside my professional journey, I built one of the largest private memorabilia collections in the Middle East, driven by a lifelong passion for sport, culture and storytelling.
That passion led to the creation of Iconic Collectors, a platform designed to bring structure, trust and investment thinking to the world of collectibles.
My belief is simple.
