IconicCollectors.com is a global platform and community dedicated to the preservation, authentication, and elevation of culturally significant memorabilia. From game-worn jerseys and championship rings to historic documents and rare collectibles, we celebrate the tangible moments that define history — helping collectors recognize and preserve their lasting value. 

Founded on the belief that memorabilia is more than nostalgia, Iconic Collectors operates at the intersection of culture, commerce, and capital. We are reimagining what it means to invest in memorabilia — blending passion with performance and storytelling with strategy. 

Our mission is to empower collectors, investors, and enthusiasts with the tools, knowledge, and access to build meaningful, high-value collections that appreciate over time — both emotionally and financially. 

Milestones: From Inspiration to Iconic 

It all began in late 2024, when my son introduced me to the world of memorabilia. What started as a casual conversation quickly became a journey of passion, purpose, and discovery. 

As an academic by background, I began researching and writing a book titled 
“Investment Collecting: The Past, Investing in the Future – A Handbook on Memorabilia and Its Emergence as an Asset Class.” 
The book was officially published on September 1, 2025, marking a major milestone in exploring memorabilia as a serious investment category. 

At the same time, I began collecting pieces from auctions around the world, inspired by the stories behind each item. Watching King of Collectibles: The Goldin Touch only deepened my curiosity — what began as a hobby was rapidly transforming into a lifelong passion. 

Within a year, my personal collection grew to over 500 items, including some truly iconic pieces — the 1992 U.S. Olympic “Dream Team” jersey, signed by basketball’s greatest legends, and the 2022 Argentina World Cup–winning team jersey, autographed by the champions themselves. 

In July 2025, I attended The National Sports Collectors Convention (NSCC) in Chicago — the largest sports memorabilia and collectibles show in the world. There, I saw firsthand the energy, community, and potential of this incredible industry. 

That experience sparked a dream: to build a trusted, accessible marketplace for collectors everywhere — one rooted in authenticity, transparency, and community. 

Just a few weeks later, on July 7, 2025, I officially engaged several companies to bring that dream to life. 

Today, that dream has become reality with the launch of Iconic Collectors — and the story continues.

I’m Bobby Rakhit — a collector, investor, and storyteller. Over the years, I’ve built one of the largest private memorabilia collections in the Middle East, spanning iconic sports artifacts, cultural treasures, and historical pieces that capture defining moments. Each item I collect reflects a legacy — not just of value, but of meaning. 

My love for sports sparked this journey. From the grit of underdogs to the glory of champions, sports mirror life — full of emotion, identity, and resilience. That’s why I collect: not just for rarity, but for the deeper stories embedded in each piece. 

Professionally, I’m grounded in finance. I’m a CFA Charterholder, hold an MBA in Finance, and am a McGill University alumnus, with a career that began at global investment banks such as Morgan Stanley, HSBC, and Piper Jaffray. Later, I led growth across emerging markets at FactSet, before founding Rakhit Capital — a family investment firm focused on long-term value across technology, real estate, fintech, and alternative assets. 

One of our boldest moves has been elevating memorabilia as a serious asset class. Through Iconic Collectors, a global platform I founded, we help collectors preserve, authenticate, and invest in culturally significant items — from game-worn jerseys to championship rings and historic documents. We believe memorabilia isn’t just nostalgic — it’s emotional capital with financial upside. 

At the intersection of commerce, culture, and capital, my mission is clear: to help people see value where others see nostalgia — and to build collections that matter, grow, and endure.
